Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
